Job Description

We are looking for an Archivist Assistant for a top fashion company in the Bay area!

Responsibilities:

Coordinates archival projects not limited to asset intake, movement, and processing
Leads tours and supports activations, installations, and other engagement initiatives at corporate hub(s)
Responds to research requests
Rehouses and scans physical archival assets and uploads digital files per team guidelines
Supports maintenance of onsite and offsite storage spaces
General project management and other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Detail oriented person, with strong organizational and administrative skills
Demonstrated comfort in public speaking and friendly, energetic demeanor
Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database and digital imaging software
Good communication, customer service and writing skills are required, as is the ability to be a self-starter that works independently or within a team
Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree or coursework in library science, archival/museum studies, or a related field a plus
Minimum 1 year of experience in archival assistance, preferably in a corporate environment
