DCI Engineers – Spokane/Coeur d’Alene Launch or elevate your career in structural engineering design as a
BIM Designer at
DCI Engineers in our
Spokane or Coeur d’Alene office. You’ll apply your Revit and AutoCAD skills to produce high-quality construction documents, collaborate with talented engineers, and grow your technical expertise in a supportive and innovative environment.
What You’ll Do As a
BIM Designer , you will play a key role in supporting structural projects through accurate and organized drafting and documentation:
- Apply company standards to perform Revit and AutoCAD drafting to produce high-quality construction documents
- Communicate with project engineers and managers regarding projects and scheduling
- Review completed drafting work and compare with mark-ups and sketches
- Maintain and organize project files according to company protocols
- Continuously grow your technical skills and knowledge through internal project experience and mentorship
What You Bring To succeed as a
BIM Designer , you should bring the following skills and experiences:
- 0–8 years of working knowledge with Revit 2023 or higher (training provided as needed); AutoCAD experience a plus
- Knowledge of construction processes and construction experience is preferred
- Structural drafting/design experience with steel, concrete, wood, and masonry preferred
- Looking for a hands-on, self-motivated type of person
- Attentive to detail, service-oriented, and effective communicator
- Approachable, collaborative, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong interest in learning and growing within a structural engineering environment
