Design, engineer and maintain compute cluster tooling for algorithm developers in C++ and Python (20%). Develop highly performant and reliable monitoring frameworks for a distributed compute cluster, integrating third party tools (10%). Engineer scalable data storage and distribution systems to support performance of advanced statistical analysis (10%). Ensure that network operations, data storage and distribution server systems are maintained to maximum levels (5%). Mentor junior software engineers and lead a team of Core Developers in the development of highly proprietary applications and software systems (35%). Work from home is permissible. Qualifications: Position requires a Masters degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field, plus one (1) year of experience in the position offered or as Core Developer or related experience. All required experience must have included: Experience developing and maintaining software tools in C++ and Python to monitor and control a low-latency blended hardware and software trading system. Experience with troubleshooting systems in software and hardware to resolve operational issues. Experience producing testing harnesses and processes in C++ and Python.
